Watercolors by Vi McClain
vimcclainwebsite.jpg

Norma Beerweiler, who lives in Seattle, donated nine watercolors by Vi McClain, a local artist. The subjects are local scenes from long ago. The Jersey Shore Historical Society was happy to receive them. They are now arranged on the wall of the entry hallway at the Moss House.

We invite you to attend an event or meeting. Our members are more than happy to answer any questions about the organization and how you can join.

The historic Moss House was built c. 1846 and has been the home of the Jersey Shore Historical Society (JSHS) since 1973,  The first floor has been retained as it may have looked in the early days.  The second and third floors act as a museum, showing many artifacts and memorabilia donated to the JSHS.
