Founded in 1963, the Jersey Shore Historical Society is located in the Samuel Moss House, Jersey
Shore, Pennsylvania. The Society preserves this house as a museum for local history.
Tours are available upon request.

The historic Moss House was built c. 1846 and has been the home of
the Jersey Shore Historical Society (JSHS) since 1973, The first floor has been retained as it may have looked in the
early days. The second and third floors act as a museum, showing many artifacts and memorabilia donated to the
JSHS.
